2022 Silver Medal Award Nominations

The Silver Medal Award program was created in 1983 to recognize a distinguished member of the Chicago advertising community for his or her career contributions and accomplishments.

Nominations for the 2022 Silver Medal Award Recipient are open now through Wednesday, July 20th, 2022. Nominations can be submitted here.

The nominee must meet the following criteria:

• Contributions to the Advertising Profession and Broader Community
• The candidate has achieved significant success working in one or more of the following areas: advertising agency, advertiser, media, or technology contributing to the advancement of marketing.
• The candidate has worked toward increasing the stature and raising the standards of the advertising profession.
• The candidate must show evidence of a consistent and high degree of creative, original thinking in advertising/marketing.

Mentorship & Community

• The candidate must have contributed to the development of others in the advertising industry through professional, civic, and community activities.

Residence/Additional Criteria

• The candidate should have a minimum of 30 years of experience in Advertising/Marketing with 75% of his/her career spent in Chicago.

Please note this person should NOT know they are being nominated to protect the integrity of the award.
